Jim Ragan is one of the most experienced Renovation Lending Professional in the U.S. After tripping over FHA 203(k) in 1988 he opened K Mortgage Corp in NJ and designed the first successful Reno Program in the Northeast. For 28 years Jim has managed sales and operations platforms for FHA 203(k) and Fannie Mae HomeStyle products. During the 90’s Jim was one of only five lenders selected to the HUD 203(k) Lender’s Workgroup that advised HUD on the redesign of the 203(k) program. His Renovation Lending experience began as owner operator for K Mortgage Corp. in NJ. He then managed Renovation Lending for Bank of New York, and then led National Programs at BOA, Prospect Mortgage, and Guaranteed Rate.
