This session will cover reasonable accommodations under the Fair Housing Act and and the NJ Law Against Discrimination and the critical issues surrounding assistance animals; what is an assistance animal, the difference between service animals and companion animals, what information an applicant or tenant must supply to obtain permission to have an assistance animal and when such a request can be denied.
