Barbara entered the real estate business in 1980. She earned her broker’s license in 1985 and co-founded Sterling, REALTORS® in Middletown, Connecticut. Barbara is a member of the Connecticut Association of REALTORS®, the Real Estate Education Association, the Women’s Council of REALTORS®, the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council, the Seniors Real Estate Council and the Seller Representative Specialist Council. She has proudly served as the Connecticut Association of REALTORS’® REALTOR® Political Action Committee chair, Issues Advocacy chair, Division Vice President for Member Services, Executive Committee and as a state director. Barbara has served as the Marketing Forum chair for the National Association of REALTORS®, served on NAR’s Risk Management committee and NAR’s Education Committee. She holds the Accredited Buyer Representative designation, the Certified Buyer Representative designation, the Seniors Real Estate Specialist designation, the Seller Representative Specialist designation, GREEN: Sustainable Property Designation and is a Graduate of the REALTOR® Institute. Barbara has educated the real estate industry in 22 states, Puerto Rico and Canada. She is the author of numerous courses including “The Right Start Program” targeting new agent training. Barbara is the recipient of the prestigious Educator of the Year award from the Connecticut Association of REALTORS® and the Seniors Real Estate Specialist Distinguished Service Award from the National Association of REALTORS®.
