Margo McDonnell is President & CEO of 1031 CORP. and a nationally recognized expert in 1031 tax-deferred exchanges with over 30 years of industry experience. She holds the prestigious Certified Exchange Specialist® (CES®) and Counselor of Real Estate (CRE) designations and earned her MBA from Villanova University. Margo is a past President of the Federation of Exchange Accommodators (FEA) and served on the board of directors for nearly 19 years. She spearheaded industry efforts to launch the Certified Exchange Specialist® Program and was the founding co-chair of the CES® Certification Council. She has also served in various leadership roles within the Realtor® community, including as Affiliate Director of Tri-County Suburban REALTORS® through 2024 where she continues to serve on the Financial Investment Committee and Commercial Chapter Advisory Council.
