Fair Housing Legacy to Liberty

Discrimination, segregation, isolation, and an assassination led to legislation that was intended to provide for equal opportunity in housing.  Examines policies, procedures, and practices in place for decades prior to the adoption of the Fair Housing Act in 1968. In the more than half century since the passage of the civil rights law (and amendments) discover the problems and pitfalls that still prevent people from fair, fearless, and free choices in their housing.
