John Young

John Young

John Young is a top REALTOR® for RE/MAX in the metropolitan Washington DC area, a Regional Vice President for the Residential Real Estate Council and a national speaker. His personal and professional life were permanently transformed in 2009 when he and his wife became the parents of a child with non-verbal autism. John began speaking nationally on serving clients with special needs and the importance of helping others after realizing there was no ‘manual’ to provide guidance, direction and support when encountering these clients. He has spoken at the NAR Conference & Expo, RRC Sell-a-bration conferences, Genuine Hustle, and for many state and local associations. This past year, John was proud to have been chosen to serve on the NAR Diversity Committee and the Maryland REALTORS® Leadership Development Committee. John brings his passion for helping others to everything he does and strives to make a positive difference in our industry for both clients and fellow REALTORS®. In his spare time he enjoys playing guitar, collecting autographs and music memorabilia, and spending time with his family. He also enjoys sharing his knowledge of creative sales and marketing through his popular “Steal These Ideas!” talks.
